STELLA STRONG

Stella was more than a dog. She was my constant companion, my shadow, my daily source of laughter, frustration, comfort, and unconditional love for over twelve years.

She taught me patience, resilience, and the incredible gift of living in the moment. Through her senior years, her cancer journey, and ultimately saying goodbye, she showed me how deeply our dogs shape our lives.

Stella's Sass was created to help dogs live happier, healthier lives. Stella Strong was created to continue her legacy by helping pets and the people who love them.

Every grant awarded, every adoption sponsored, every donation given, and every life touched through Stella Strong is a reflection of the love Stella brought into this world.

Her story may have ended, but her impact never will.

Stella Strong was inspired not only by Stella, but also by Anya Spots and the extraordinary bond she shared with her dad, Charles.

After Stella passed away, Charles became one of the people who truly understood the depth of that loss. Having walked the same path after losing Anya, he offered support, encouragement, and friendship when I needed it most. Through countless conversations, shared grief, and many wonderful ideas, he helped me begin turning heartbreak into something meaningful.

The seeds of Stella Strong were planted during those conversations. Charles' unwavering devotion to Anya and his desire to continue honoring her memory showed me that the love we have for our dogs doesn't end when they're gone—it evolves into something that can still make a difference.

Anya's legacy lives on through the lives she touched, the stories that continue to be shared, and the kindness that grows from the love she inspired.
