Morticia's Story

Morticia's journey began when she arrived at League City Animal Care as a stray, unsure of where life would take her next.

For nearly two months, she waited patiently for someone to see the wonderful companion she truly was. During her stay, Morticia even enjoyed a Dog Day Getaway, giving her the opportunity to take a break from shelter life and spend time in a home environment. Experiences like these help dogs relax, show off their personalities, and give potential adopters a glimpse of what life with them could be.

All Morticia really wanted was a family to call her own.

On June 21, 2026, her wish finally came true when she was adopted into her forever home.

After weeks of waiting, Morticia's shelter days came to an end, and a brand-new chapter filled with love, comfort, and belonging began.

Morticia's story is a beautiful reminder that every day a shelter dog waits brings them one day closer to the family they were meant to find. Stella Strong is honored to celebrate Morticia's happy ending and the loving family who gave her the second chance she deserved. 💜
