Beaucephus's Story

When this handsome pup arrived at League City Animal Care as a stray, he was known as Alder. No one could have guessed just how quickly his story would change.

The very same day he entered the shelter, a member of the community met him and instantly knew he was meant to be part of their family. They pre-adopted him that day, eagerly waiting for the required stray hold to end in hopes that no owner would come forward.

Their patience paid off.

On June 23, 2026, he was officially adopted into his forever home and given a new name: Beaucephus.

His journey from stray to cherished family member happened in less than a week, proving that sometimes the perfect match happens almost instantly. Beaucephus's sweet personality captured a heart from the moment he arrived, and now he has a lifetime of love, adventure, and companionship ahead of him.
