When this adorable puppy first arrived at League City Animal Care as a stray, he was known as Red Timber. It didn't take long for everyone to see what a special little guy he was.

Full of puppy energy, curiosity, and endless love to give, he quickly captured the heart of a family who met him the very same day he arrived. They knew immediately that he belonged with them and eagerly waited through the required stray hold, hoping no owner would come forward.

When no one claimed him, his dream of finding a forever home became a reality.

On June 16, 2026, he was officially adopted and given a brand-new name: Stryder.

His new name marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter filled with love, adventure, and all the joy a growing puppy deserves. Stories like Stryder's remind us that sometimes a second chance comes quickly—and when the right family finds the right dog, it's simply meant to be.
