Snow's Story

Snow's journey to finding her forever family was a little different from most.

As one of League City Animal Care's long-term residents, Snow spent 332 days in the shelter's foster program rather than in a kennel. Her foster family opened their home to her, giving this sweet senior girl the comfort, love, and stability every dog deserves while she waited for the perfect adopter.

Over time, something beautiful happened.

The bond between Snow and her foster family grew stronger with each passing day. What began as a temporary act of kindness slowly turned into something much more—a forever kind of love.

When the time came to say goodbye, they realized they simply couldn't.

On June 19, 2026, Snow's foster family officially adopted her, making the home she had come to know and love her forever home.

Snow's story is a beautiful reminder that love has a way of finding us when we least expect it. After 332 days of waiting, this sweet senior girl didn't just find a family—she discovered she had been home all along.
